Maria Yerosimou was born in Cyprus, where she recieved her first music lessons. After completing her music studies at Pindario Conservatoire (Piano and Theory) in Nicosia, she continued her music studies at a higher level at the department of Music Science and Art, University of Macedonia in Greece. For her studies she gained a full scholarship from the Greece State Scholarship Foundation. At the same time, she started harp lessons. In a short time she managed to perform in various events and concerts, including collaborations with the Cyprus State Youth Orchestra, the University of Macedonia and the national Techological University of Cyprus.

Her music studies were continued at a Masters level leading to an MA in Performance Arts and an MMus in Harp Performance. Recent performances include a concert with the Cyprus Youth Symphony Orchestra at Ayia Irini, Instanbul and a concert with the Goldsmith's Sinfonia at Queen Elizabeth hall, London, whilst she is preparing premieres of works by new composers. She can be heard in many recordings and some of them include collaborations with internationally recognized artists like Benoit Cassar (Buddha Bar, France).

Maria has long collaborations with many prestigious venues such as Anassa Hotel (Leading Hotels of the world), Danai beach Resort and Hotel (Small leading hotels of the world), Elysium and Annabell (Luxury hotel of the world), Four Seasons and many others. Maria has played in the presence of many important people like the President of the Republic of Cyprus and the famous football player, Ruud van Nistelrooy.
